Sounds like a great event mate, any chance of backing up to the new members section for a minute and telling us a bit about yourself?

Hi Toura
Sorry if you found my website http://www.blackdogride.com.au/ a bit confusing . It was built for my ride around Australia last year and its content is quite specific to that ride as I had no idea there would be future rides at that time. You are correct in your observation that I am still championing the cause and there is some basic information about my 2 new rides for 2010 on the front page of the site.
The site is currently undergoing a redesign to better reflect the developments which have taken place since the completion of the inaugural BDR.
Fingers crossed it will be launched in about a week. blackdog rider

Was a good ride on Sunday Steve and very well organized, well done getting the police to lead the ride and manage the intersections  bow down

I'm sure you would have raised some good dollars (and awareness) for the institute by the number of bikes that showed up + pillions.  Thumbs up

I will post up some pictures tomorrow when I have a chance.

Well done.

Cheers

Thanks Jeff, I appreciate your kind words of support. We were thrilled with the success of the event, 268 bikes + 50 pillions and it all worked well for a first time event. We will fine tune a few things and be back next year (April 17th 2011) bigger and better.

Now that's done and dusted we are moving our focus to Black Dog Ride to the Red Centre in September.
